Jaya Ahsan has excelled in a wide range of characters in myriad films throughout her illustrious career, the latest being Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’. This time, the Bangladeshi actress takes it up a notch as she portrays a character with multiple personality disorder in Arnab Paul’s upcoming psychological thriller ‘
Brishti Tomake Dilam
’. Jaya plays the titular character of Brishti who is suffering from
schizophrenia
. And director Arnab Paul can’t stop praising her lead actress for portraying such a demanding role with ease.
“It’s extremely difficult to switch between personalities when playing a particular character. It can affect you in real life as well. Not only Jaya pulled out the act exceptionally well but she did it even going through the mental and physical extremes due to a hectic schedule. Sometimes she was so tired that she couldn’t leave the makeup room at the end of the day,” reveals the director.
