It looks like no stopping for Arjunn Dutta’s directorial debut ‘Abyakto’. After its extensive festival round receiving appreciation from all corners, the family drama is finally set for theatrical release. Recently the official poster of the film along with its release date was announced. ‘Abyakto’ will hit the big screens on January 31.
After its screening at the Singapore South Asian Film Festival and winning the Audience Award for Best Regional Film at the Indo-German Film Week the family drama recently won yet another prestigious award at the 5th Caleidoscope Indian Film Festival in Boston.

‘Abyakto’ bagged the ‘Most progressive Film from India’ award at the festival.
The story of ‘Abyakto’ revolves around the life of Indra through his growing years, from being a child to becoming a full-grown man. As he grows up, a series of unexplained events that occur to him turns him into a man that he never thought would become.
The film stars Arpita Chatterjee, Adil Hussain, Anubhav Kanjilal and Anirban Ghosh in the lead. Recently ‘Abyakto’s teaser was released and it was appreciated by all. “I had the teaser ready and knew I would publish it before the film’s release. All this is part of the film’s promotional plan and the trailer will release in some time. So far, the response has been very good,” said an elated Arjunn.
Meanwhile, Arjunn has already wrapped up the shoot of his next directorial venture ‘Guldasta’ which stars Arpita Chatterjee, Debjani and Swastika Mukherjee.
