‘Jaalbandi’ teaser touches a milestone, hits the one million mark

Pijush Saha’s upcoming thriller ‘Jaalbandi’ is making headlines and for all good reasons. The thriller which stars Darshana Banik and Paayel Sarkar alongside Prince in the lead is based on Samaresh Majumder’s novel by the same name. Incidentally, Prince who is also the director’s son is making his debut in ‘Jaalbandi’. The slice-of-a-life drama also stars June Maliah, Pampa Saha, Dipankar Dey and Kharaj Mukherjee in pivotal roles.The official teaser of the film is already out and it has created quite a lot of buzz. Within days, it has crossed one million views on YouTube.

The suspense thriller revolves around Anish (Prince) who gets a job in an insurance company. He starts as an agent who is desperate to build his career. The responsibilities of delivering insurance targets for his company and at the same time assuring security to the helpless take a toll on young Anish. His life changes forever in 72 crucial hours, and he gets to realize the real essence values in life and relationships. He faces the harsh reality of our corrupt society and gradually gets trapped into a series of shocking events. What happens next forms the crux of the film.

While the DOP of the film is Gopi Bhagat, the music has been composed by Amit-Ishan. If all goes according to plan, ‘Jaalbandi’ will be released soon.
