Its official! Paayel is dating her director Abir Sengupta

Fans of the petite and pretty Paayel Sarkar should get ready to nurse their broken hearts. After many ifs and buts, Paayel has admitted to CT that she is dating Abir Sengupta, the director of her 2015 release, Jomer Raja Dilo Bor.
���We are both in a happy space. People have been asking me about my relationship status and if I���m dating Abir, but I���ve been keeping quiet as I did not want to publicly admit anything before I was cent per cent sure about my feelings,��� says Paayel.���In my last relationship (with director Raj Chakrabarty), I never admitted publicly that I was dating, as I myself was not sure where the relationship was headed. But I���m fully sure about Abir.��� How did their romance bloom, we ask. ���It all started after the shoot of Jomer Raja Dilo Bor got over. Gradually we realised we were in love, though no one proposed as such,��� she adds. The foundation of their relationship was laid on solid ground, she feels. ���Abir knows he is dating an actress but he is not insecure. We���re both aware of each other���s pasts. He understands me well ��� even my silences.��� With Abir living in Mumbai, Paayel travels there often to be with him. ���Either I fly down to Mumbai or Abir comes to Kolkata so that we can spend quality time together. Both the families know about our relationship and within a year or two we will tie the knot,��� says the actress.
But the sad part is there are people in our industry who can���t digest the fact that two people can be happily in love. They spread rumours on social media but don���t realize that it won���t help in the long run,��� says Paayel. Abir, who flaunts a lovey-dovey DP with Paayel on WhatsApp, says that his connection with his heroine is magical. ���The romance started silently and during the promotions of Jomer Raja Dilo Bor, we realized that our bonding was getting stronger. When you love a person you like everything about her and I love Paayel for the person she is,��� says Abir. Who makes up in a fight, we ask. ���Love makes up,��� comes the reply.
