Several Tolly stars, including actors Sudiptaa Chakraborty and Rwitobroto Mukherjee, took to social media keeping everyone updated about their present scenario. While Sudiptaa was lucky to get electricity back in her locality after more than 90 hours, continuously reaching out to those in authority, Rwitobroto claims no attention is being paid to his area since the day the storm hit the city.

“No matter whoever is in power, whoever is currently holding the position and who would come to power in future, no one seems that much bothered," the young actor sounded a bit miffed. "It’s now 144 hours and there has been no electricity, water supply, or network connection. There’s just an erratic internet connection at times.” The ‘Dwitiyo Purush’ actor is quite sure it will be really difficult to get the problem resolved any time soon.

Meanwhile, Sudiptaa Chakraborty, was continuously calling CESC for more than 90 hours till the power came in her area. However, it’s not the end for the actress, she has now stepped up in support of others raising her voice. “I’ll be calling them until everyone sees the power coming back. That’s my promise,” she assures.

As protests over restoring power and water supply continue in many cyclone Amphan-hit parts of West Bengal normalcy is slowly returning to other affected areas of the state.
