Ishita Chakravarty going places

A Rituparno Ghosh composition was Ishita Chakravarty���s first song for a Tollywood movie. ���Ami jodi bhir hoye jai from the film Maach Mishti More was my first song for a Tolly movie,��� Ishita said. Having sung a duet with Cactus vocalist Dibyendu in Raja Narayan Deb���s next film Jodi Love Dile Na Prane, Ishita is already making a mark in the music fraternity.���I am currently working as an associate with Mainak Bhaumik in his upcoming film Take One, starring Swastika Mukherjee,��� Ishita mentioned. A trained Hindustani classical singer, Ishita is equally deft in jazz music. She is currently a part of Calton Kitto���s jazz ensemble. Rolling Stone magazine has called her 'A talent to watch out for in jazz music'. A part of Mayookh Bhaumik���s Black Coffee, a contemporary electronica project, Ishita is currently busy in a project with music director Neel Adhikari in an upcoming film Banka Prithibi.
