Ishhaan S Mazumder who impressed cine lovers playing a key role in Arjunn Dutta’s ‘Guldasta’ will now share the screen with none other than
Rituparna Sengupta and
Chandan Roy Sanyal in the Hindi film ‘
Salt
’ being directed by Sunny Ray.
The talented actor recently returned to Kolkata after the outdoor shoot in
Darjeeling and super excited to work with such powerful actors like Rituparna and Chandan.
“It was a great experience working with Chandan Roy Sanyal and Rituparna Sengupta. We had great fun working together. They never made me feel that they are so big in terms of their achievements, work, and skill. To sum up, the Darjeeling schedule was a fun-packed shooting experience,” shares Ishhaan who is also playing an interesting character in another Hindi film ‘Red Orchid’.
“I play a lawyer in Red orchid and it’s a challenging role. This is my first Hindi film, so you can imagine my excitement. It will also be a great learning experience to share the screen with such a powerful actor like Rajesh Sharma,” added the actor who will also be seen in
Shieladitya Moulik’s upcoming film ‘Chheledhora’.
Coming back to ‘Salt’, the film sheds light on the complexities in relationships. Chandan has said this story reminds him of the Hollywood classic ‘Blue Valentine’ and he’s so excited to play a character that shows him from a completely different perspective. Meanwhile, Rituparna who plays Maya in the film says the story is about a couple’s journey.
