Now, according to latest reports, the noted filmmaker’s next might be a light-hearted romantic comedy, that too with no star cast! Rumour has it, Shubhasish Mukhopadhyay,
Laboni Sarkar and Gourav Chattopadhyay are part of the cast. The plot reportedly revolves around
Uttam Kumar but it’s not a biopic. If all goes according to plan, yet untitled film is likely to hit the shooting floors in February next year.
Meanwhile, ‘Feluda Pherot’ is based on Satyajit Ray’s 'Chhinnamastar Abhishap' and 'Jawto Kando Kathmandute', two iconic stories of the iconic sleuth. While

will be seen as Feluda, Kalpan Mitra will play Topesh and

takes on another iconic character of Lalmohan Ganguly.
