Abir Chatterjee has been roped in to play the male lead. Sohini will be essaying her character in three different stages of life — young, middle age and elderly. Prosthetic makeup has been arranged for the shoot. The music has been composed by Indraadip, while the screenplay and dialogue are by Padmanabha Dasgupta. Sirsha Ray has been roped in for the cinematography. The cast also includes Sujan Mukhopadhyay, Mousumi, Sidhu, Devlina Kumar, Daminee Benny Basu and Debapratim Dasgupta. Talking about the first day of his shoot, Indraadip said, “I took the first shot at 10 am. Sohini, being the central character of the movie, was there today. We were running a bit late, but I will more than make up for it.” The first schedule is of eight days and the next will comprise seven days. “Overall, it’s a 15-day shoot. The entire film will be shot in Kolkata,” he said. Indraadip added that Abir, whose role has been kept under wraps, will begin shooting on August 27.
