Indira Dhar Mukherjee's upcoming film is a tale of love that unfolds through mystery

Director Indira Dhar Mukherjee’s upcoming film Kothay Shahjahan is a love story woven with mystery. The film will see Sean Banerjee, Pratyusha Roslin and Shaheb Chatterjee essay three of its pivotal characters, alongside Koneenica Bandhopadhyay.
“The film is based on true events. It is now in the filming stage and heading towards the wrap up of the second schedule,” shares the director.
The story revolves around the incidents that take place after the owner of a tea estate goes missing. It is a story of love and betrayal with a dash of heartbreak and duty. The story tangles itself in a web of mystery and untangles itself through a heart-wrenching turn of events.
“The film is a poignant exploration of love’s fragility and the enduring power of the human spirit to overcome betrayal. The story is a rollercoaster of emotions that will leave viewers questioning the boundaries of trust in matters of the heart,” says Indira.
