In Pics: Jogajog premieres on Tagore's birthday

Director Sekhar Das paid a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore on his 150th birthday through his latest release, Jogajog.
The film is based on Tagore's novel and play of the same name. On Friday evening, the cast and crew of the film, along with other guests from the industry, attended the premiere at a city theatre. Suvolagna Mukherjee, who doubles as the lead actress and one of the singers in the film, turned heads in a white and orange sari.CT also spotted filmmakers Bappaditya Bandopadhyay, Aniket Chattopadhyay, singers Haimanti Shukla, Jojo and many others at the event.

The director said, ���Like most Bengalis, I have grown up reading Rabindranth and I made this film as a tribute to the Bard. And what can be a better time to release this film but now?" We couldn't agree more.
