Amid the controversy, Sreemoyee Chattoraj took to social media on Monday to post a video and silence the trolls. “I play a negative character on TV, but that does not make me a negative person in real life. People who know me well will vouch for it,” she said in the video. Refuting the trolls, she said she’s not a ‘homewrecker’. “Truth will come out.I do not intend to get into a relationship with a married man,” she said. Claiming that she sees Kanchan as her brother or industry senior, Sreemoyee said,“Why am I being used because some other people cannot handle their fragile marriage?” Referring to the mudslinging, the actress added, “Besides the mental pressure, this incident will affect my work too. In fact, my relatively humble family is still in shock.”
