Indranil Sen���������s production house is coming up with an investigative serial titled ���������CIB: Bengal���������, directed by Arindam Bose, which will be aired on a private Bengali channel, soon.
���������The serial is adapted from daily crime that���������s happening all around. A team of six people try to investigate the crime and solve the same celebrally, not physically.We want to avoid showing physical violence in the serial. I purposely took newcomers on board so that the audience doesn���������t face an identification problem.
Depending on the incidents, the stories will span a day, two days or three days,��������� said Indranil, adding, ���������I am a die-hard fan of Feluda and anything investigative always attracts me. Hope ���������suspense���������, which is the main element in these kind of serials, is retained in ���������CIB: Bengal���������.���������
Is the serial on the lines of C.I.D. we ask him? ���������Not at all. Both are investigative serials, but, of course, C.I.D. is made on a bigger budget,��������� Indranil clarifies.
