I really hope Sandip Ray casts me in his next Feluda film: Subhrajit Datta

Subhrajit

Datta just completed shooting for Arindam Sil’s film Tirandaj

Shabor

in which Saswata Chatterjee plays the titular character. Subhrajit plays Nando, Shabor’s assistant in this film. “Working on Shabor franchise is always fun. This is a humane story interspersed with crime, love and action sequences in equal doses. In this film, Nando is more active than he was in the earlier parts. I feel Tirandaj Shabor will be Arindam da’s career best film as a director. I will start dubbing for the film soon,” said the actor, who presently busy shooting for two mega serials — Mohor and Gaatchora.
“In both the serials, I play characters with negative shades. Playing such characters is fun and challenging as you play a character you don’t relate to in real life. As an actor, there is a lot of scope to experiment with such roles. But I wish a director casts me in a grey shade in a film for I have never played a negative role on the big screen,” shared Subhrajit.
The buzz is that the actor is playing an important character in Sandip Ray’s next

Feluda

film Hatyapuri. “I don’t know yet. I had an initial conversation with

Babu da

(Sandip Ray) but I am yet to get a confirmation. I have worked with him before and I wish that this time too he calls me to confirm that I am part of the film,” said the hopeful actor.
