I prefer to spend Eid with my family: Jaya Ahsan

Jaya Ahsan will be spending Eid in in her hometown, Dhaka. After spending two months in Kolkata and shooting two films, the actress has recently gone back to Bangladesh. But before leaving, she managed to bag the Best Actress award at Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2021 for her performance in Atanu Ghosh’s Binisutoy.
Talking about her Eid plans, she said, “I prefer to be in Dhaka during Ramzan and Eid.I have a shoot there. My scene is, I move around wherever my shootings take me to. Like a jetsetter, I have always had a packed bag. I have finished shooting in Kolkata and now I move to Dhaka and that coincided with Ramzan month. I enjoy that period. The city in that time becomes all about food and I will enjoy that bit thoroughly. I always try to spend the day of Eid in Dhaka with my family and friends. Once or twice I spent Eid in Kolkata and I was almost in tears. I remember having cold porridge from the fridge once and I missed my home so badly.”
