The shoot of director
Sunny Ray's Bangla film, a dark physiological drama, Bishakto Manush, wrapped up on Saturday and the entire cast and crew are happy with the way the project has shaped up. Actor Subham is playing one of the pivotal characters in the film while
Saurav Das, Rupsha Chatterjee, Sumana Das and Anangsha Biswas are also part of the project.
Talking about his experience, Subham said, it has been one of the most challenging characters he has ever played.
“The story revolves around a necrophiliac serial killer, named Taufique Asif, who is awaiting a death sentence in prison. After living through a disturbing childhood and a traumatic life, Taufique develops deep-rooted psychological issues and after a series of incidents, he became a necrophiliac,” Subham added.
This is Subham’s second film with
Sunny and he says he is fortunate to have worked with him in the project. “He is a director who knows how to extract the best out of an actor. He would give us complete artistic freedom and because of that we were able to improvise,” Subham said. During the 11-day shooting schedule in Kolkata, Subham said that Sunny would ask them to read the script thoroughly and then act accordingly. “He never imposed his views and decisions on us and told us to portray the character the way we deemed fit. Obviously, he would correct us every now and then,” Subham remembered.
