, has excused himself from the project owing to creative differences with the production house and the director. Ena Saha plays the lead opposite him in the film. Taking to social media,Yash wrote, “I have decided to excuse myself from the project #CheeneBaadaam. I no longer wish to be associated with the film in any way. However, I have given my heart and soul during the shoot and the post-production of the film and wouldn’t want it to go to waste. I wish the makers all the best. #if the situation so demands I shall be constrained to disclose the reasons (sic)”

This evening, Ena along with Sheiladitya, will be holding a press conference regarding the alleged “creative differences”.
When we contacted filmmaker

, he said, “I am aware of the creative differences Yash is talking about. Having said that, if there’s indeed an issue, we will try to resolve it as soon as possible.”

The film deals with how the addiction to mobile phones and other technologies hampers a relationship. “In this film, Yash and Ena develop an app, Cheene Badaam, through which lonely people can make friends. How their relationship is affected during the making of the app is what the film is all about,” said the director.
