I am resting well so the wound heals fast: Anindya
Recently, actor Anindya Chatterjee met with an accident on EM Bypass while he was on his way to Rajarhat on is bicycle. Cycling is Anindya’s passion and he goes for a ride every morning. “I was cycling alone to Rajarhat when a car hit me from the back at EM Bypass. I fell. When I regained consciousness after a minute or so, I realized there were pedestrians surrounding me.

I was badly injured and couldn’t even get up. By that time, my friends had come over and I was taken to a nursing home. Luckily, there is no fracture, but my tissues have been damaged badly. The doctor said it can’t be operated on now. So, I am on a high dosage of antibiotics and pain killers,” said the actor. He added, “Mimi (Chakraborty) and Parno (Mittra) came over to my house to meet me. Today, Gourab (Chatterjee) dropped in. He is my cycling partner too. I am resting as much as I can so the wound heals fast.”
Anindya was supposed to go to Odhisa on August 24 for the outdoor shooting schedule ofKhela Jawkhon. “Arindam da (Sil) is aware of my accident. I am hopeful that the wound will get better and I will be able to go for my outdoor shoots,” said Anindya who has postponed his dubbing schedule for Maya due to the accident.
