‘Hridpindo’ will be more emotionally rich: Shieladitya

Shieladitya Moulik’s debut Bengali directorial ‘Sweater’ was lapped up by the audience and it also received critical acclaim. Now, the young director is back with his next film titled ‘Hridpindo’.
Although there isn’t enough information about the plot, ‘Hridpindo’ is a touching love story that will raise significant questions against the stereotypical notions of love we have seen for generations.

Starring Arpita Chatterjee, Prantik Banerjee and Saheb Chatterjee in the lead, the shooting for the film has already been wrapped up and Shieladitya is pretty much excited about the final outcome.
“Arpita will appear in a never-seen-before avatar. Both Saheb and Prantik, who play the male leads, will also look very different from their onscreen avatars so far. This film is richer than my previous film in terms of emotions and, of course, performances. The actors are working really hard to fit in the characters. No matter how complicated a subject is, I like to tell it in the simplest of ways. My audience should feel emotions while watching my movies and

not think hard to decode scenes. The dialogues need to be very real and conversation-like. I also want to create a newer visual experience for the audience this time,” revealed Shieladitya.
Ranajoy Bhattacharya who had composed the soulful songs of ‘Sweater’ will be taking charge of the music department this time as well.
