Speaking to us about it, the actor said, “Till 2016, I used to be Dada’s neighbour. My house was next to his in Behala. So, I share a deep bond with his family. Needless to say, he is my favourite cricketer and is a person I look up to. I didn’t visit him at the hospital as I felt it was not the right time. So last Saturday, I made an appointment and

him. Donadi (Ganguly) was also there, so the three of us had a great adda. He told me that his father had heart disease from a very young age, so it’s hereditary. But Dada is keeping well now and will get back to work after two weeks. His spirit is still the same. I was there for more than three hours and had adda over tea, sweets and cake,” said the actor, adding, “Not many know that I used to work out in Dada’s personal gym in his house and it was he who inspired me to flaunt six-packs in Reshmi Mitra’s Macho Mastana.”
On the work front, Hiraan said he has completed shooting for Nehal Dutta’s film Choddobeshi, where he is paired opposite Paayel Sarkar. “It is a romcom. The film shows what happens when I enter Paayel’s house in disguise,” said the actor.
