Mimi Chakraborty is celebrated for her forthrightness and someone who doesn’t mince her words. Interestingly, her real-life persona doesn’t deviate much from her on-screen image. It’s evident that Abir's comment about Mimi was made in jest. During a light-hearted conversation between the ‘Raktabeej’ co-stars, Abir and Victor Banerjee, they playfully compared their fellow actors to food items. Mimi, in Abir's view, is comparable to pulao and mutton: delightful to savor, but potentially challenging to digest. Victor, with a grin, concurred and humorously compared Abir to rezala, while Abir equated Victor to the regal essence of Darjeeling tea.
Coming back to ‘Raktabeej’, the narrative is influenced by the alarming Burdwan blast of 2014, an event that rattled not just Bengal but the entire nation. The movie chronicles the return of a significant individual and how an unexpected explosion at a firecracker unit exposes a grave danger to his existence. Recalling the real-life event, on October 2, 2014, a blast occurred in a residential building in Khagragarh, Burdwan. The prompt police response was met with resistance from two women in the building who threatened to detonate it and destroy crucial evidence. They were eventually detained, and the police unearthed over 50 improvised explosive devices within.

‘Raktabeej’ is set to release on October 19, coinciding with the festive season of Durga Puja. The film will be released in Bengali, Odia, Assamese, and Hindi, appealing to a broad spectrum of viewers.
