Gargee Roy Chowdhury is spending her birthday at home with family and friends. “Since morning, all my friends are dropping in to wish me with cakes, flowers and chocolates. One of my close friends prepared payesh for me and I am touched by the gesture. I am going to have Bengali food for lunch and dinner — both prepared by Kesto, our Man Friday — who has been living in our house for years.
He is a great cook and in fact, our family member too. I have been enjoying vegetarian food better than non-veg items of late. But today, I will gorge on everything that he makes. Diet will take a backseat today and I didn’t exercise too as birthdays should be treated as cheat days. I plan to wear a new sari in the evening,” said Gargee.
What are her birthday resolutions, we asked Gargee. “I want to work harder so that people remember me as a hard-working actress. I hope to continue to entertain my audience with brilliant performances in the near future. I am so happy that people loved my performance in Mahananda and they are praising my efforts. What more can I ask for? That’s my biggest birthday gift,” said the actress.
On the work front, Gargee just completed dubbing for
Atanu Ghosh’s film Sesh Pata. “I will soon start dubbing for Nandita Roy and
Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s film Haami 2,” shared Gargee.
