However, there is an interesting story behind Chitrangada’s casting in ‘Ahare Mon’. The Bengali actress was in Kolkata when the audition was going on and one day she went to repair a laptop with one of her friends. Her friend incidentally bumped into director Pratim Das Gupta and they talked about Chitrangada. Next day she went for the audition of ‘Ahare Mon’. The director was present for the audition that day. Soon Chitrangada got to know that she has been given Titli’s role but she has to get a new haircut.
Apart from Chitrangada Chakraborty, the romantic drama also stars Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mittra, Paoli Dam, Adil Hussian, Mamata Shankar and Anjan Dutt in the lead. 'Ahare Mon' will release on June 22.
