Dev has completed 15 years in
Tollywood
. When we asked him about the five favourite characters he has played in his career, the actor said, “Shankar from Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s Chander Pahar will always be close to my heart. Shooting for the film in the Amazon rainforest was a grand experience, which I’ll remember always. Then there was Dev in Rajib’s Paglu. The songs of the film, which also did well at the box office, are still popular.
Amal
from
Buno Haansh
is another favourite, as I played a guy next door for the first time. Working with
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury was also a lovely experience. Then there are Shibaji in
Chaamp
and Chandan in Sanjhbati. I loved playing these characters.”
The actor went on to add that his character, Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, in Golondaaj will always be special for him. “Shooting for the film was an experience I’ll always cherish,” he said.
Dev, who completed shooting for Golondaaj on February 22, had taken to social media to write, “Undoubtedly the most physically challenging film in my 15-year long career. Started with breaking my toes playing football barefoot, to hurting my neck, spraining my arm & today on the last day I'm heading back with an almost broken ribcage. Hope u love this one. #Golondaaj (sic).”
