We have also learnt that music director
Indraadip Dasgupta is busy with Gumnaami’s background score and songs. He said that there are four songs in the film and all of them are patriotic. “It has a large orchestral sound and the flavour of typical patriotic music. However, more than the songs, the background music is proving to be more challenging,” he added.
When asked about the reason, Indraadip said that it is quite difficult to combine the place where Gumnaami baba lived and where his roots belong. “Along with that, we are creating pro-Independence as well as post-Independence sounds and combining that with patriotism. It is a very challenging task,” he added. Besides Gumnami, Indraadip is also working on the background score of two films – Bornoporichoy and Porineeta.
