Guldasta postponed, Shrimati shooting deferred: Arjunn starts developing other scripts

Amid setbacks with release and work due to the pandemic outbreak,

is gearing up with new works. His second film Guldasta that features Swastika Mukherjee,

and Debjani Chatterjee was set to release on April 24. It is now postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown. Meanwhile, the shooting of his next,

Shrimati

, is yet pending. However, this could not deter the spirit of the filmmaker, who has now concentrated on developing concepts and penning scripts.


“Yes, it is a major setback for us. I am a bit sad for Guldasta. But we are faced with a much bigger crisis now. I hope things settle down soon and we can go to work,” he said.


Arjunn is busy in developing ideas for another script. “I have developed two concepts and soon I will start writing the script for one of these. Meanwhile, we have planned to start postproduction of Shrimati as 90% shooting is done. Only one day of shooting is left and hence we can start working from home as much as we can,” he said.
