Director
Pritha Chakraborty’s favourite month is March. Guess why? “Today is my
birthday
and I got married on March 11 last year. Also, my debut film
Mukherjee
Dar Bou released on March 8 in 2019.
Last year
, the lockdown was announced soon after my wedding, so we couldn’t do the registry. So, this year on March 14, we got our marriage registered. From March 11 till today, we are in a celebratory mood,” said the director, adding, “On our anniversary, my husband and I went out for a quiet dinner. My mother-in-law was not well that day, so we couldn’t do anything at home. On March 14, all my friends and relatives were here and we had a gala dinner. Today, I went out for breakfast with my best friend. Lunch will be at
home
with family. Having payesh is a must on my birthday, so I will have that along with mutton and rice. At night we all will go for dinner.”
Any birthday resolutions? “Nothing as such but I always pray to god for good health and a peaceful life and everything else will follow,” said Pritha.
After Mukherjee dar Bou, Pritha will start shooting for her next soon. “It is a relationship tale set in a small town. We will start shooting in May,” said the director.
