Guess who is playing Kangana Ranaut’s mentor in ‘Dhaakad’!

Saswata Chatterjee has a key role to play in Kangana Ranaut’s much-anticipated spy action thriller ‘Dhaakad’. The terrific actor will be seen as Kangana’s mentor in the film and they have plenty of scenes together in the film which is set to hit the big screens on May 20.
During a recent interaction, Saswata revealed an interesting inside story about the film’s cast.You would be surprised to know that it was Kangana who suggested the seasoned Bengali actor’s name to the director and that’s how Saswata came on board for ‘Dhaakad’. He also revealed that the actress, in fact, has seen most of Saswata’s previous works and she’s highly impressed.

Apart from ‘Dhaakad’, Saswata Chatterjee is also a part of Anurag Kashyap’s next ‘Dobaara’ which stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead. Be it the protagonist, antagonist, or even a comic character, Saswata has the reputation to pull off any critical character with accuracy and control.
The spy thriller has been directed by Razneesh Ghai and according to the latest reports, the film will be turned into a franchise. When ‘Dhaakad’ was announced, Kangana had claimed that it will be the first Indian female spy film. She has already managed to leave fans astounded with her fiery avatar in the recently released trailer.

Dhaakad also has Arjun Rampal in a negative role along with Divya Dutta in a pivotal role. It has been shot in Mumbai, Bhopal and Budapest. The thriller will introduce Kangana as Agent Agni.
