We all now know what’s next for Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. Tentatively titled as ‘Gowtro’, this film, as per sources close to the development, revolves around the serious issue of the ill effects of cast division in our society. The film will go on the floor from mid-April. The director duo has already started working on it.
Manali Ghosh, Shaheb Bhattacharjee, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Kharaj Mukherjee among others are set to play the pivotal roles in ‘Gowtro’.

We all have seen the director duo is used to churn out only one film in a year but things are slowly changing. They are awaiting at least two more releases this year. While ‘Konttho’ is slated for a June release, much-awaited ‘Bela Shuru’ will release during Durga Puja.
Not only ‘Gowtro’, they are working on another film which is most likely to be the sequel to ‘Muktodhara’. Nigel Akkara and Rituparna Sengupta who received accolades for the 2012 social drama will play the leads in ‘Muktodhara 2’ as well.
