was screened at the 27th Kolkata International Film festival on Friday. Set on the backdrop of pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the film features Suman Mukhopadhyay and Gargee RoyChowdhury in the lead. While a big chunk of the film was shot on

Ajodhya Hills

, in Purulia, the rest of it was shot in Kolkata.


“The pandemic has impacted me in various ways. The world around me seemed to have presented a dark comedy. I saw how people changed their behaviour. I travelled to villages and saw another world that is sans the awareness of the ongoing pandemic. All these are captured in the film through the eyes of a couple played by Suman and Gargee,” the filmmaker said.


Suman missed the screening since he was in the US. Gargee, along with other cast and crew members were seen at the do.
