Goutam Ghose comes back from Italy after shoot
After shooting in Italy for over a month for his next film, Goutam Ghose is back in Kolkata. The filmmaker had left for Naples on December 29. The film features Marco Leonardi, who played the teen years of Salvatore Di Vita in Giuseppe Tornatore’s iconic film, Cinema Paradiso. Besides, Italian actress Cristina Donadio will also be seen in a pivotal character.
“On December 31, Naples hosts a huge and gorgeous firework display by the sea.

I wanted to film it so that I can use it in my film. It was an almost Italian crew and only four or five people spoke English. But I realised language is definitely not a problem. Cinema has its own language and I faced no difficulty shooting in Italy,” the filmmaker said.
After reaching Naples, Goutam prepared for 10 days and then started the full-fledged shoot. The shooting went on for two weeks. “I did my recce beforehand and hence the work became easier,” he said.
