Get ready for a puja love story!

What’s Durga Puja without pujo prem and never-ending film watching? It looks like this Puja will be high on entertainment as Dev and Rukmini Maitra are set to team up yet again for a refreshing rom-com titled ‘Kishmish’. With three different timelines, the rom-com will be directed by Rahool Mukherjee and will be bankrolled by Dev's home production.
Dev will be seen in three characters including that of a comic book artist-writer Krishanu while Rukmini plays Rohini.“It’s a love story for the youth and a very relevant one. We are sure everyone will be able relate to the story,” said Dev.
“Puja also means prem and this film is a modern-day take on love. The film’s name is very interesting. It captures the mood right away. It’s also about how things work in a relationship Love is sweet and delicious once you experience it,” feels Rukmini.
Dev and Rukmini last appeared together in Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s 2019 thriller ‘Password’. Beside ‘Kishmish’, Rukmini has another film in the pipeline - Sauvik Kundu’s directorial debut ‘Switzerland’ which sees Abir Chatterjee opposite her. Meanwhile, Dev has two films in hand right now, ‘Golondaaz’ and ‘Tonic’.
