Get ready for a nostalgic reunion with ‘Abaar Bochhor Kuri Pore’

At some point in our childhood, we went outside with our friends to play together for the last time and we never knew it. Srimanta Sengupta’s film ‘Abaar Bochhor Kuri Pore’ dives into the same pool of emotion. It’s about a reunion of school friends who get lost in their own turmoil and monotony of their adult life and then decide to revisit their golden days after 20 long years.
The slice of a life drama has a cast that’s no short of a galaxy of stars. It includes acting powerhouses Abir Chatterjee, Arpita Chatterjee, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Tnusree C, Swagata Basu, Abhishek Banerjee, Sumanta Mukhopadhyay, Anirban Bhattacharyya, Ravi Shaw, Swagata Basu, Arya Dasgupta, Pushan Dasgupta, Dibyasha Das, Tanika Basu, Rajarshi Nag, Aritra Dutta Banik in pivotal roles.

“Arun (Abir) is an individual who has worked from scratch to make himself successful but is lost in the aggrandizement of the corporate world. Bonnie (Arpita Chatterjee) is a doctor busy in her own life going through some transformative changes in life. Nila (Tnusree C) is estranged in her own life of husband, kids, and household chores. Dutta (Abhishek Banerjee) is the only one currently based in Kolkata and perpetually planning for a long-pending reunion. How these set of friends based in different cities beat all odds and come for the reunion is something special to look out for in the movie. Late 90s Kolkata, school friends, Nostalgia and a few unique twist and turn will make the journey of ‘Abaar Bochhor Kuri Pore’ a memorable journey,” said the director while speaking about his dream project.
While the story and screenplay are by Srimanta Sengupta and Monali Sen Choudhury, Pratip Mukherjee will be the DOP. Ranajoy Bhattacharjee is composing the music.
