Shiboprosad Mukherjee-Nandita Roy's much-anticipated ‘Haami’ has managed to tug at the heartstrings with a simple yet matured narrative and Gargee Rochowdhury, who plays one of the lead characters in this film, is delighted to see such a huge response from the audience. The actress said, “We are getting so many feedbacks. It’s a film for all, be it the adults or kids.
I am confident that 'Haami' will spread the right message in our society. That’s where the entire success lies.”
‘Haami’ walks down the memory lane showing the innocent curiosities of kids, their friendships and school life. It throws light on issues which sometimes dismantle a child's psyche while referring to the recent incidents of sexual harassment in schools. The film also speaks of the lack of trust between the parents and schools.
Shiboprasad and Gargee have reprised their roles as a Bengali middle-class couple Laltu and Mitali in this film for another harrowing parent act after the success of the first installment ‘Ramdhanu’. The stellar cast also includes Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, Aparajita Adhya and Tanushree Shankar in key roles.
