Actress Parno Mittra, who worked with Irrfan in the film Doob: No Bed Of Roses, is shaken to the core after hearing about Irrfan’s death. “Though we all were aware that he was keeping unwell and fighting since long, the news of Irrfan’s demise has shaken me to the core. The 40 days that I spent with him working for Doob will be forever etched on my memory.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of him is our endless chatting on the sets between the shots. We would talk for hours and I got to learn so much from him. Despite being such a big actor, he came across as an extremely humble and chilled-out person,” she told us.
Talking about his love for cricket, she said, “One thing he absolutely loved was cricket. Every day after the shoot, he would organise a cricket match. Besides, he was an avid lover of art and photography. During the shoot in Bangladesh, he clicked some awesome photos.”
But more than anything else, Parno says she will remember Irrfan’s funny side. “In Bangladesh, we once came across a big sculpture -- it was a street art for public and looked like a huge handi. Irrfan liked it so much that he wanted to bring it to India! He had a great sense of humour,” she signed off.
