Mukhosh

’, an intense thriller, which sees Payel Sarkar and Rajatava Dutta opposite each other. It also has Prantik Banerjee, Santilal Mukherjee and debutant Amrita in pivotal roles. The film has been shot by Modhura Palit, while editing will be done by Anirban Maity.

Check out these exclusive pictures from the shooting floor.

The story starts with Amrita lodging a complaint about her missing older sister while a senior police inspector, played by Santilal Mukherjee, begins primary investigation. Amrita believes her brother-in-law, played by Rajatava Dutta, is responsible for her sister's disappearance.

Rajatava Datta will be seen as an influential figure with strong political connections and the incident puts his career in troubled waters. However, despite the influence of Rajatava’s character, the inspector promises to help Amrita out.

Prantik Banerjee’s character also comes to her Amrita’s aid. Paayel Sarkar essays Rajatava Datta’s love interest in the thriller with loads of grey shades.

Argha Deep Chatterjee made his directorial debut with the crime thriller Jojo in 2018. His second film Rhododendron (2019), again a psychological thriller, is yet to be released.

“I play Pamela and for the first time, I’m playing a character with grey shades. The film is a thriller, where a girl lodges a complaint when her sister goes missing. She suspects that her sister’s husband is behind her disappearance. Playing a character that is not positive is challenging for me, as all through my career, I have only essayed positive

roles. When I am playing Pamela I realize I have so much to do and I am literally pushing myself to do something different where the audience can say and feel that this is not the Paayel they have known for so long. The character

has lot of layers that will make the audience think whether I am the culprit or not. Then again, they will be confused and think I am a good human being,” said Paayel while speaking about her character in 'Mukhosh'.
