The actress, who's super excited to be a part of the film shared with ETimes “It is a spine-chilling horror story. “I am a huge fan of this genre and to be able to make my debut in one is the most exciting feeling ever. The entire experience of being a part of such a film has been a very fulfilling one indeed.”

The plot revolves around a married couple who soon after moving into their new apartment realize their idyllic life has been unraveled in the most horrific ways because of the presence of a malevolent spirit. When their relationship crumbles, they understand that they must stick together to not only save their marriage but also their lives.

Sayani who was last seen in the Bengali film ‘Jadu Kadai’ opposite Rahul Banerjee now wants to focus more on her career in Mumbai. She already has some interesting projects in hand. “There’s no suitable offer in Kolkata. I can only do projects only if it attracts me and I am comfortable with accepting the role when all my requirements are kept in place. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen in Kolkata. So, I am now concentrating on my career in Mumbai now. There are some interesting projects in my kitty and I am eagerly waiting to work on them,” shares Sayani during an exclusive chat with ETimes.

Speaking about the nepotism and favouritsm debate in Bollywood Sayani admits Bollywood is much more professional than Kolkata. Here you have to work hard to stay in the competition. “See, if you are hard-working, if you have the dedication you will find work here. Here everybody is professional. There is plenty of opportunity and the remuneration depends on your role. So far, I have had my luck. Yes, there’s a tough competition and you need to be patient and focus on your aim. Then everything will come in your way eventually.”
