Ex police commissioner in Riingo's film
Enforcing the law is his second nature, so it shouldnt be too difficult doing it on screen as well. Probably with this in mind, former city police commissioner Gautam Mohan Chakrabarti has agreed to star in his first film, Riingos Senapati... a legacy of love, which is a thriller about a family of gangsters. Gautamda plays a commissioner in my film.

He is just right for the character and is seen as someone who cracks down on the lawbreakers. He has the real-life experience to make the character look authentic on screen, said Riingo. Calling the director an old friend, Gautam told us, The role shouldnt be a problem and my past experience will help me. The story deals with the Senapati family, a clan of gangsters. When the eldest of the clan, played by Barun Chanda, gets killed on his birthday, his two younger brothers, played by Abhinav Shukla and Ronodeep Bose, try to track down the murderer. The film will be shot in two parts: the first part in London and India this May and the next part in Thailand in December. The director said, The rise of the family will be shot in May and the fall in December. There will be references to the dark side of the Mahabharata in the film. Riya Sen plays Abhinavs love interest, while Pakistani actress Mayal Khan will be paired opposite Ronodeep another first in a Bengali film. That apart, Riingos wife Rupsha Guha Banerjee, Indrasish Roy, Subrat Dutt, Gaurab Chatterjee, Kaushik Mitra and Rana Mitra have important roles in the film.
