, said, “This film will take the audience on a roller- coaster ride of emotions, away from the fear and uncertainty of the present time. I love to do comedy films, as I feel that is the most difficult genre. It is not easy to make people laugh, especially in this current situation.”
The film revolves around a rich and overprotective grandfather whose granddaughter falls in love with a salesman. He believes, like every other guy this guy is also running after his granddaughter’s property. “The film will show how this guy wins her grandfather’s heart through a series of comic tests,” said the director, adding, “I will be working with Om for the first time and I want to present him in a new avatar. During the workshop, I found his comic timings were good.”

Both Om and Pathikrit are happy that theatres are reopening from October 1. “The

and OTT platforms have become the main source of entertainment for the audience. But I am sure once theatres reopen the audience will come back to movie halls as watching a film on the big screen has its own charm. I hope there will be big releases this puja,” said Pathikrit.
