Ena Saha works for anti-AIDS campaign

Even though she doesn’t believe in celebrating any special day, the International AIDS day was special for Ena Saha. The actress shared a number of short clips on social media to raise awareness on the issue.

has neither written nor narrated the story, but she is the one who has coordinated the entire project.

Talking about the initiative, Ena said that she was extremely conscious about these things and couldn’t stop herself from promoting them. “Every year, AIDS takes away hundreds of lives. At present, people are more aware than ever before, but I think still need to spread awareness about this,” she told us.

Ena, along with her team, made six stories based on different situations and walks of life, each having AIDS awareness as the common theme. One such story talks about the LGBTQIA+ community and how they can be more conscious about the condition. Another story talks about a couple going out of the city on a vacation.

“I have over 30 million followers on social media. So, I shared the stories in a span of three days, from November 30 to December 2. I am hoping that the stories would reach the common people and help create awareness,” she added.

At present, the actress is working on an anti-rape campaign based on the Priyanka

incident. “Protesting on social media after such heinous crimes take place has become a fad. But I think we should concentrate more on stopping these things from happening,” she added.
