‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ video: Here's all you need to know about Chandrabati

The story of ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ is incomplete without Raja Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury’s wife. At a tender age of eighteen, young Chandrabati gets married to the middle prince of Bhawal estate. But, Chandrabati soon discovered her husband wasn't much caring towards her. Following a shocking turn of events, the prince died a sudden death in Darjeeling and Chandrabati was left to spend rest of her life as a widow.Does her story really ends here or is it a new beginning? ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ sees Jisshu Sengupta in the titular role of Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury, the middle prince of Bhawal Estate, Rajnandini paul as his wife Bibhabati Devi, Jaya Ahsan as his elder sister, Anirban Bhattacharya as his brother-in-law Satya Banerjee. Anjan Dutt and Aparna Sen play the two lawyers in this court room drama. Sreenanda Shankar will be seen as the mistress of Bhawal Raja, Kadambari, in the film. Meanwhile Rudranil Ghosh plays the doctor in the film.
Directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by SVF, ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ is releasing on October 12.
