“In the film, which is about the golden era of Indian football (1952-62), I play Neville D’Souza, Chuni Goswami’s teammate. I had met him as a kid and he had a great aura around him at that time. When I was shooting for Maidaan, I thought of meeting him. But I was shooting for two films back-to-back, so I couldn’t. I will always regret that,” said the actor.
