After giving the Bengali film industry a big boost with back-to-back hits, renowned director Arindam Sil is all set to start shooting his next project which will be another addition to the list of Indo-Bangladesh collaborations.
While speaking about the cast of this upcoming movie, the ‘Asche Abar Shabor’ director reportedly disclosed a lesser known side of the Bengali industry.

According to him, casting six-seven actors for a single film is not an easy job these days as not everyone is ready to share screen space with a competitor.
Arindam’s next film, titled ‘Balighar’, is based on a popular novel 'Dheu Ashe Dheu Jay' by Suchitra Bhattacharya. The cast includes Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Arifin Shuvoo and Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed from Bangladesh and Tollywood heartthrob Abir Chatterjee, Bengali beauty Parno Mitra and popular actor Rahul Banerjee as its main cast.
The director thinks that the India-Bangladesh collaboration has started a new era in giving great opportunities to established and budding stars. He also alleges that many stars disappear after one or two films, while there are others who receive a great response for their debut performance and sometimes reject good offers without any reason.
