He even used to come to me before every shot just to check whether I am in the de-glam look. Being an actress, it was quite challenging for me. Shooting an entire film in a no-makeup look is very tough,” revealed the actress.margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height: normal;background:whiteSrabanti also revealed that there are many similarities between her character ‘Riya’ in ‘Piya Re’ and Srabanti in real life, “I am originally from Behala Parnashri and there was a slum just behind our house during my childhood and I used to play a lot with the kids from that slum. I have seen how these people live in slum areas. So it was nothing difficult for me to portray a slum girl on-screen. Plus, Riya loves to be with children just like me in real life.
