Dhrubo gearing up for his next thriller

After ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’, Tollywood’s new hitmaker Dhrubo Banerjee is ready for his next, a thriller which may star Abir Chatterjee in the lead.
“Shooting for the psychological thriller will start from this September. We will finalize the cast by the end of this month. I can’t divulge any more right now. I am still working on the script. But it’s not the next installment of Guptodhon series.I did the first two in a row since it’s not a literature-based franchise and I had to establish the characters in the audience’s mind. But now, I want to take a little break before I lay my hands on it again,” said an elated Dhrubo after seeing ‘Durgeshgorer Guptadhon’ surpassing all the expectations.
According to industry sources, the story is about what happens when a group of people gets marooned on an island. However, the director is hell bent on not sharing the details.
After the huge success of the first treasure hunt film ‘Guptodhoner Sondhane’ last year, Dhrubo returned with the second installment of the franchise, ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’ and he proved his box office mettle yet again.
