Dev's film poster creates history!
History was made in Tollywood on Saturday evening as the biggest-ever poster of a Bengali film was unveiled at Mohun Bagan stadium. The poster in question was of Kamaleswar Mukherjee's adventure tale, Amazon Obhijaan, produced by SVF and starring Dev as Shankar. The gigantic poster was 97 meter long and if placed vertically, would be taller than Big Ben (96 meters), Statue of Liberty (93 meters) or Qutub Minar (73 meters)! More than 100 man-hours and 80 people were engaged in creating and installing the massive poster, which comprised 32 individual prints that were fitted together on site.

A huge crowd thronged the football ground to take a peek at the poster and, of course, their fave star, Dev, who unveiled it along with the film's director and composer Debajyoti Mishra.

“We created history today , which will forever be remembered. This was a very difficult film for us and I am sure the audience will appreciate our efforts,“ said Dev, who was mobbed by his fans at the event. Though the producers of the film were conspicuous by their absence, Mahendra Soni later told us, “Our vision is to take Bengali cinema to newer heights. I feel the launch of the biggest Bengali film poster has set new standards in Tollywood.“
Amazon Obhijaan is the most ambitious project by the production house and him, felt Kamaleswar, who thought it needed a perfect kick-off. “The audience will love the film,“ said the director.
