and they fall for each other and then slowly love blossomed. So, there was no such scope of anything like starting with friendship.

“We fall in love at first sight. So, we were in love from the first day. Going out or chitchats like best friends never happened between us. As our relationship matured, our understanding grew. We learned all those things we like or dislike in between that,”

quips.

The couple got married in December last year. They have built their paradise together smitten in love. Would it be really possible without friendship? “I believe there is a friendship in every relationship. Even parents become friends with their children at some point. Just like that, Gourab and I didn’t share any special friendship. It’s all there in our love for each other,” adds the actress.

The lovey-dovey couple recently squeezed some time out from their busy schedule for a much-needed beach vacation in Goa. Devlina for whom it was sort of a honeymoon for them adds, “We were never the so-called friends and both Gourab and I fall for each other at the very beginning of our journey.” Be it the romantic walks down the beach, enjoying local cuisine or spending some quality time away from the chaos of city life, the couple had it all during their short vacation.

Meanwhile, on the work front, while Gourab will be seen playing himself as Uttam Kumar’s grandson in Srijit Mukherji’s much-anticipated ‘Oti Uttam’, Devlina is playing one of the key characters in Raajhorshee De’s upcoming film ‘
