My older brother who lives in Delhi is here for my birthday after five years and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. My niece and sister-in-law are also here so this time all members of my family are here to celebrate my special day with me," Rukmini says.
In July, the actress will start shooting for Souvik Kundu’s film co-starring Jeet and is at present busy dubbing for Binodiini-Ekti Natir Upakhyan and Byomkesh - Durgo Rahoshyo. Rukmini shared some more details about how she's spending her birthday week:
"This morning I woke up and ate leftover cake and burst balloons as a start to my birthday. Then I had luchi, begun bhaja and payesh. Lunch is also quite elaborate with my special dishes like illish and mutton. Having payesh and five types of vegetable fries on our birthdays is a must in our family. So, I never miss that. At night we will have continental. Tomorrow we will discuss how we spent these two days and that completes my birthday circle,” said Rukmini.
What did her 'special friend' Dev gift her on her special day? "Dev just made my birthday 'happy' and 'specail' - what more can I ask for?," said Rukmini with a smile.
