The film revolves around the world of elderly parents who have no other option but to live away from their children. Ever since the teaser was released, ‘Sanjhbati’ made movie lovers talking about it not just for the ensemble cast but also for the touching subject. Now, Dev has announced when the official trailer is coming out and it’s this Friday, November 29.
In the film, Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen as a single elderly person who lives all by himself and is taken care of by Dev. On the other hand, Lily Chakraborty stays with Paoli Dam and seems to be acquainted with Soumitra as she calls him Chanada.
While Lily Chakraborty ponders over severing all ties with her children, due to their negligence, Dev, Paoli and Sohini Sengupta take the elderly duo for a holiday in north Bengal. What happens next forms the crux of the film.
