Debleena-Tathagata separate after seven years of marriage

Dutt’s marriage of seven years has hit the doldrums. The reason behind this, is, reportedly, Tathagata’s alleged relationship with actress

Chatterjee. Speaking about it for the first time,

Tathagata

told us, “I was quiet all this while when people were talking about my marriage and relationship with Debleena. Let me clarify one thing — when we thought of staying under the same roof and getting married, we didn’t get anyone’s permission. Now, when we have decided not to stay under the same roof owing to adjustment issues, we don’t owe a clarification to anyone. It is true that we are not staying together but that doesn’t mean we are not friends anymore. We are in touch with each other for work-related issues and otherwise too. In fact, we have three pets who live alternate between my house and Debleena’s,” said Tathagata. He added, “As far as the relationship with Bibriti is concerned, I prefer not to talk about it now because it is a personal matter.”
On being asked about his film that was supposed to star Debleena, he said, “It’s happening. I have no problem working with Debleena. Rest is entirely her call.”

Bibriti, who played the lead in

(directed by Tathagata) was unwilling to talk about her relationship with Tathagata. “I don’t have much to comment on my relationship with Tathagata. All I can say is that a third person cannot break anyone’s relationship if they don’t want it. Also, I was not dating Tathagata when we were shooting for the film. I was seeing the film’s lead Rishab Basu at that time,” said Bibriti.
Repeated calls to Debleena went unanswered
